Our classical Chinese medicine approach incorporates both research-based and time-tested treatments combining acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, food therapy, and essential oil formulas, plus lifestyle, exercise and stretching advice. We include adjunct techniques such as cupping, gua sha, and tui na (Chinese medical massage). Rather than taking a disease-centered focus, we address the underlying causes of disease using a patient-centered approach addressing the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms.

April Heesacker

April is a dedicated and compassionate practitioner of Classical Chinese Medicine, helping individuals achieve balance and holistic health. April meets people with an open heart and creates a safe space where people feel heard. She treats a wide range of conditions such as pain, insomnia, anxiety, and headaches. Her specialty is complex women’s health issues. When she’s not practicing, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two teenage girls, watching soccer games, and taking walks with her dog, Indigo.
